EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method that has been proven to relieve distressing symptoms associated with traumatic memories. EMDR uses bilateral stimulation to change the way traumatic experiences were stored in the brain. Unprocessed memories that are tied to automatic thoughts, reactions, beliefs, and physical sensations are reprocessed in an adaptive way that results in eliminating or significantly reducing problematic symptoms.
